BBC Up Country

Al appeared on many Radio Stations across Europe and the United States.  Whilst on tour he would often guest on the local Radio Stations in the areas visited.

Al did several BBC Radio broadcasts for Radio 2 and Radio Medway (Kent).  These shows were presented by presenters such as David Allen, Wally Whyton,   Dave Cash. And Larry Adams

The Up Country broadcast in 1972 was particularly special as a coach of 50 fans came up from Thanet to see Al.  Click here to listen to the show
